LEAD

Explore Your Career Opportunities at Leading Jewish Organizations

The skills you learn today — business, law, accounting, management, education, social work, psychology, information technology, computer programming — can offer you a rich and rewarding career in the Jewish nonprofit world.

LEAD provides paid internships for Russian-speaking, Jewish undergraduate and graduate students in the New York metropolitan area. You will have the opportunity to work in a Jewish not-for-profit organization that serves the entire community through an internship tailored to meet your career goals. You will gain experience working in a professional environment, while expanding your contacts within the Jewish community in New York City.

You will also participate in three seminars led by dynamic leaders in the Jewish world and enjoy cultural programming that will help you explore your Jewish heritage and your place in Jewish communal services.

You will receive one-on-one professional guidance from a mentor.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Students may apply for fall, spring, or summer programs. During the fall and spring semesters, the internship runs for a period of 10 weeks. Undergraduate students work 4 hours per week for a total of 40 hours, and graduate students work 14 hours per week (140 hours total). Summer internships are full-time for 8 weeks (280 hours total).
