The Aliyah Department of the Jewish Agency in New York is looking to fill a part-time position immediately.



You will work directly with the Director of Marketing on building/implementing marketing programs that are geared toward members of the Jewish community who are interested in making Aliyah to Israel. You will work heavily on maintaining our North American contacts and you will be expected to write, edit, brainstorm creative concepts, and do basic design. The right person is enthusiastic, clever, quick-witted, and passionate. The right person also has excellent integrity and a very strong work ethic. You will be expected to complete many complex tasks under deadline so you must work well under pressure.



This job is part-time (20 hours a week) and $10 per hour.



Please possess the following skills and qualifications:



-         Be currently enrolled in college with a GPA of 2.0 or higher

-         Have a resume that details related experience

-         Be studying marketing, communications, or a related field

-         Have demonstrable familiarity and skill with all social media (facebook, twitter, etc)

-         Have an active interest and passion for Israel

-         Have excellent writing skills

-         Be proficient in the Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and Powerpoint)

-         Basic design skills and familiarity with the Adobe suite is a major plus

-         Hebrew comprehension a plus
