 1. Senior Portfolio Quantitative Analyst: these are the very precise specifications that need all be met- PhD Math or Appl Math or Math Finance, C++, Matlab, perhaps Java too a plus, experience 3-5 years minimu in portfolio quantitative modelling and quant analysis, knowledge of quant portfolio theory (portfolio optimization, portfolio attribution, benchmarking, performance and risk analysis), experience in WEALTH MANAGEMENT, PORTFOLIO INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT or PORTFOLIO ASSET MANAGEMENT or MUTUAL FUND definitely a decissive plus.  2. PART- TIME MICROENTERPRISE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
 
 The Hebrew Free Loan Society, a unique philanthropic organization that has promoted economic self-sufficiency through interest-free lending since 1892, is seeking a part-time (20 hours a week) coordinator for a comprehensive microenterprise program targeting New York’s immigrants from the Former Soviet Union.
 
 QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
 • 2-5 years of business related experience; familiarity with small business operations desirable
 • Appropriate academic background (e.g. business administration, finance, accounting)
 • Highly detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial, team player 
 • Fluency in Russian language
 • Proficiency in Word and Excel 
 • Strong desire to work in the field of economic empowerment 
 
 DUTIES INCLUDE: 
 
 • Screening program applicants
 • Conducting due diligence on loan prospects
 • Working with clients on developing business plans, including historic and projected financials
 • Writing a business plan narrative and compiling summary financials for presentation to the Microenterprise Loan Committee 
 • Interfacing with our partners - Marks Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst and myriad government-funded small business technical assistance providers 
 • Post-loan follow-up 
 • Project management (e.g. performance evaluation)
 • Helping promote the program in the target communities
 • Developing periodic newsletter to the clients
