15 Fellowships Available for 2010-11 - up to $15,000 living stipends - tuition waivers - for women engaging in advanced Jewish Study Yesodot Skill-building Program Women develop skills in Jewish text-study through classes in Biblical Hebrew, Parshanut (Biblical interpretation), Jewish Law and Talmud. Full or part-time study programs are available. Beit Midrash Program Women with strong Hebrew skills and experience with biblical and rabbinic texts engage in life transforming, full-time Jewish Learning. Talmud, Halacha and Tanach and are taught at intermediate and advanced levels depending on students’ backgrounds. Participants may apply for a second year. Classes are taught by renowned faculty. Scholars Circle Highly qualified women interested in careers in Jewish education and leadership may participate in this intensive, three-year program. Participants learn with Beit Midrash advanced level students. Study to cover: Niddah, Shabbat and Kashrut, leadership training and experiential programming. Arts Fellowship Professional women in the arts develop skills to interpret classical Jewish texts and integrate Jewish thought and philosophy into their various artistic expressions. They study full or part-time in the Beit Midrash or Yesodot classes.
