There is a position available at F.E.G.S for a bilingual Russian/English case manager. The position is within the Refugee Services Program. A brief job description is below. The Refugee Services Programs at F.E.G.S provides a full range of social, case management, job readiness, job placement and retention services to newly arrived Refugees and other immigrants, with a focus on developing customized goals based on the needs of each individual. Whether a recent arrival, or a refugee living in the U.S. for any period of time, F.E.G.S will design an individual plan to help move individuals toward economic independence. The case manager will provide outreach, intake, assessment, and ongoing case management to F·E·G·S clients, including translation services, throughout the resettlement period.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, communication and organizational skills.
- At least 3 years experience at a not-for-profit organization working with immigrant populations preferred. Knowledge of Refugee Resettlement Process preferred.
- Computer literate with knowledge of latest word-processing, spreadsheet and database software.
- Bilingual in Russian.
