Midreshet B'erot Bat Ayin'sSummer Programs have attractedcreative, soul-seeking women to delve into holistic Torah study in the spectacular Judean Hills for more than 12 years. Meet some of our students . . .

Our Summer 2010: Women Rebuild the Mikdash Programfeatures everything that we are known for - dynamic teachers, open-minded classroom learning, creative spiritual processing and hands- on working the Land. Read about our teachers and watch our video.

Highlights:

  • In-depth textual study of the Tabernacle (Mishkan) and the Holy Vessels (Klei Kodesh) as presented in the Book of Shemot, seen through the lens of traditional and Kabbalistic commentators.
  • Creative exploration of classroom learning through various forms of art, as well as meditation, movement and holistic self-healing.
  • Experiential processing of the Jewish woman's role as the priestess of the home, as compared to the Cohen Gadol's role as the High Priest of the Beit HaMikdash, based on the Torah text Eshet Chayil (the Woman of Valor).
  • Desert Night Hike under the full moon and tour of the Temple Institute in the Old City, plus local nature hikes and visits to holy sites.
  • Optional Intensive Garden of Emuna: Torah and Agriculture seminar (June 6-11). Dig into the dirt and come out with a spark!
