Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless
This might very well be the longest running program at Tanger Hillel at Brooklyn College. Each year for the past 26 years, Tanger Hillel at Brooklyn College has hosted a Thanksgiving dinner to feed homeless people in Brooklyn. Tanger Hillel at Brooklyn College partners with fraternities, sororities, and clubs on campus. Student volunteers coordinate, plan, and implement the program. The entire event is student-run. It is a staple of Tanger Hillel's at Brooklyn College ongoing commitment to the Brooklyn community.
