BaMidbar Wilderness Therapy, a program of Ramah in the Rockies, is a pluralistic, kosher, and Shabbat-observant program. Our mission is to promote whole-health wellness in the Jewish community by elevating the conversation around mental health and by providing wilderness-based journeys of self-discovery, hope, and healing. We integrate a wilderness experience with a Jewish framework and clinical intervention to help teens and young adults build skills to successfully navigate life’s challenges.
BaMidbar Wilderness Therapy offers three core programs:
Mifne BaMidbar - a residential, wilderness-based treatment program for young adults struggling with depression and anxiety
Etgar BaMidbar - a four-week summer program for adolescents focused on social, emotional, and spiritual wellness
Experiential Educator Course - for Jewish community professionals looking to expand their mental health literacy and explore facilitation through the lens of social and emotional growth
2020 Session dates:
Session 1: March 11 - March 15
Session 2: May 20 - May 24
