Social Media and Technology Internship at Brooklyn College Hillel

Are you constantly on Facebook or Twitter?  Are you interested in technology? Are you looking to work in the social media or marketing field? Then this internship is for you! Tanger Hillel at Brooklyn College seeks a Social Media and Technology Intern for spring 2012. Job description and requirements are listed below. The Intern will work with the programming staff, develop and coordinate marketing initiatives and communications for all of BC Hillel.  The social media intern will report to the Program Director.


Duties & Responsibilities:                          

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Monitor the social media sites for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube Channel

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Help create content, solicit volunteer student participation, brainstorm posts and themes for YouTube, the Hillel blog and website.                                                                     

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Maintenance of the website and marketing software; increase traffic on the website

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Increase the number of followers on Facebook and Twitter

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Create flyers for targeted events

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Create promotional materials and designs

Skills & Experience:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Intern should be active on Facebook and Twitter, blogging experience is preferred but not required.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Should live a digital life and be familiar with digital and social media trends

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Photoshop experience preferred

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate courses

<!--[if !supportLists]-->  <!--[endif]-->Ability to prioritize, handle a variety of tasks and be self-directed
