This program provides a unique opportunity for students of every denomination to partner in making a difference in the life of a child. Our student volunteers eat dinner with the children, play games, read stories, and help them with their homework. Every Wednesday, over 30 children, from a local homeless shelter, come to Tanger Hillel at Brooklyn College to take part in the program. Student volunteers range in age, religion, and sexual orientation. This program serves an essential function to the community while providing students with the chance to learn about each other.
Free food is provided for all participants and students.
Tanger Hillel is operating on a hybrid model. Please refer to our calendar to stay up to date on what’s happening! Click here https://tinyurl.com/BCHillelCalendar
